I a student am running the marathon and supporting HEAL because it is an organisation that supports a very disturbing issue that plagues our country - sexual abuse. Did you know for every girl in your life there is a girl out there in India who has been sexually abused.HEAL is trying to prevent any more girls from getting abused. They hold educational workshops and also a very essential part of their campaign includes counselling victims of sexual abuse.Imagine your contribution of as little as ₹100 could go a long way in preventing a mother girl from getting abused. Hi! I’m Dev Dalmia a student of the Cathedral and John Connon School, in the 8th grade and i’m running the Tata Mumbai Marathon to raise money for a NGO that’s supports a problem in our country that is greatly overlooked, sexual abuse - HEAL counsels victims of sexual abuse and holds workshops to educate people about the same.
