In recent years, Child Sexual Abuse has proved to be one of the biggest growing concerns in our society. Due to India's vast population of children, it is susceptible to various forms of child maltreatment. Despite knowing the prevalence of the issue at hand, inadequate effort has been taken to eradicate child sexual abuse in India. As a student, once coming to the realisation, that for every privileged child like me, there is a victim of CSA, my mindset completely changed. This number was a mere statistic, but now I have understood the pertinence of the issue. For a victim of child sexual abuse, experiencing trauma is inevitable.
