Child sexual abuse happens at such a high rate in India that it is safe to call it an epidemic. 53% of children in India have been victims to this atrocity - that is 200 million children. One in every two children has been sexually abused. That means for every safe and healthy child there is another victim of sexual abuse. This statement sounds nightmarish but it is TRUE. CSA has significant negative and pervasive psychological impacts on its victims and prevents them from leading a normal happy life. However, there is a limited understanding among adults about the gravity of the issue. Child sexual abuse can no longer be ignored. I request all of you to kindly donate to this cause generously.
