According to me, Child Sexual Abuse in India is a heinous crime and needs to be stopped immediately. In India, 1 out of every 2 children is sexually abused and tortured for no fault of theirs- roughly around 200 million children. The children are stripped of their opportunities and ill- treated at a young age leaving them questioning the sanctity of this world. I feel the cause of this is lack of education in people that enables them to have the mentality that child Sexual Abuse is acceptable. The Foundation, backed by HEAL, that stands for Help Eradicate Abuse Through Learning , is striving to curb child abuse and has already reached out to many children and citizens of India and has educated them in how to prevent such abuse .
