I am raising money for the HEAL foundation. Heal stands for 'Help Eradicate Abuse through Learning', and is an NGO that aims to abolish child sexual abuse through training workshops and programs for students, teachers and adults. I personally believe that no one, especially not children, should have to face sexual abuse. Sexual abuse is one of the cruelest and most gruesome things that one individual can do to another, and those facing abuse often blame themselves. Without adequate counselling, abuse victims often never fully recover from the traumatic experience. As people with the means and resources, I think it is our duty to try and help those in need. Let's come together to play our own small role in creating a better, safer and happier environment for the youth of our country to learn and grow.
