Yes, children in Mumbai have a right and access to education, but do they have a right to quality education? I believe that quality education is one where children are taught to think beyond the books, where children are developed holistically as both individuals and team-workers! It is one where children are equipped with life skills to that will enable them to have a successful future, in any field they would like to pursue. 'Muktangan' is an NGO that believes in providing Quality Education to the underserved communities. It is education for the community, by the community. Muktangan not only educates children but it also empowers women from the community to be Educators with their teacher training initiatives.
