I have been participating in many marathons & this is my 4th year with Mumbai Marathon. It has been a journey of fitness and more importantly that of giving back to society through raising funds. This year I am raising funds for the cause of CPAA (Cancer Patients Aid Association) & Make-A-Wish Foundation. Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) is an NGO which is trying to alleviate the sufferings of Cancer patients, especially the economically deprived ones. Cancer treatment is expensive and CPAA helps those who don't get the right treatment simply because they cannot afford it. Make-A-Wish Foundation is the affiliate of Make-A-Wish United States. It fulfills the wishes of underprivileged children diagnosed with life threatening illness. Granting a wish enriches the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Apart from monetary support, I find great merit in spreading awareness for these causes and ensuring that more people in our country lend a much needed and appreciated helping hand.
