With my six months experience in NSVK, I saw the another real face our society through my visits in slum of Malwani, Ambujwadi, Azmi nagar and IC colony, which are slums still to be developed in well known developed Mumbai. People known that Dharavi is the largest slum and these are the slums which were unnoticed by many good eyes. To turn those good eyes towards these vulnerable people and to show their real circumstance in living NSVK is working for past 20 years. They are not looking for individual alone to be developed by any help, they want their people develop themselves with the support of NSVK. NSVK is giving support system for those people to enhance their confidence and will power to work for their own development. Here I personally would like to work on helping or creating support system to children in these slums, who have all the social devils like sexual abuse, medical issues, lack of education in their life. All I would like to see here are smiles with perfect school uniform, happy and energy playing kids, a good livelihood, kids with learned life skills to uplift their own family and society.
