Teena** was harassed on an hour-long walk to school from her house in Kokari Agar Sion, Mumbai. These boys would grab her hand while shouting "kiss me".She did not tell this to her parents, as she knew they and the society would blame her that she encouraged these boys to misbehave. She was right: when her family found out, they banned her from going to school.Parents main concern is the effect on their "honour" if she gets sexually assaulted. The family plans to get her married now. Teena is just 16 years old.
This case happened in front of me. I want to help these girls to be Independent and shape their future and help the learn to say NO

About Me
Two years back my School Bombay Scottish send us for community service , During that I have opted field work at Sparsha . During my intervention with Sparsha kids I realized there are so many issues that children face.
So last year, I supported Sparsha in their annual fundraising event called " Balkotsav" . Me and my friend loved to see the smile on the children's face , first time they got the opportunity to perform at cultural event, games and fun fair were arranged along with lovely food. It was an overwhelming moment for me
I go regularly to teach children English and conduct sports activity on Saturday's .
I love to be with them. Me and my friends participated in Daan Utsav.
