While watching the show Daredevil I realized all the difficulties that a blind person has to go through every day and that got me thinking about differently abled people and what a challenge life must be for them. They want to do and try to do all the things which I can manage so easily during the course of the day but how difficult it must be for them. In the past I have visited schools that teach the blind and realized that those without sight need to do pretty much the same as us. They too have classes to attend, books to read in Braille and a playground where they love to run, though it’s not that easy for them without sight. It is similar for people who have physical, auditory and cognitive challenges. We spend all our lives running around…for school, for meeting deadlines and to finish the last point of a tennis match. But now, I am finally running for a cause and I hope you will support my run so we can help the differently abled take their place in society as they rightfully deserve.
