In this 21st century, gender equality is one of the most conversed topics of the day. Yet we find many girls are not able to receive even the basic level of education. Barriers such as lack of funds, lack of adequate facilities in rural areas, lack of sanitary napkins force them to drop out of schools. Thus at a young age, they are pushed into a married life even before they could joyfully complete their adolescence. Family Planning Association of India (FPAI) aims at helping these girls to complete their education. They have been working towards gender equality and women empowerment for the past 68 years. Let’s join hands with FPAI and donate towards this uplifting cause. Even a small amount can go a long way in empowering these girls to get back to school.
