200 million children in India have been sexually abused. That is about 8 times the entire population of Australia,4 times the population of South Africa and more than half the population of the United States of America! For every 1 fortunate child in India, there is one unlucky 1 who has been abused. These are cold hard facts. Although we can't directly go and help these children on a large scale, we all should do our little bit to help make the world a better place. Through HEAL, that stands for Help Eradicate Abuse Through Learning ,we can help children in India who have been through abuse. The Foundation, backed by HEAL, is striving to curb child abuse and has already reached out to many children and citizens of India and has educated them in how to prevent such abuse .
