Since 2017, I have been working on the Let’s READ project that aims to bring the joy of reading to children from under-resourced communities. For a first-generational learner who didn’t have access to a library, witnessing the children’s sheer joy on getting their own story books is always heartwarming. What is really remarkable is the increase in their confidence, an attempt to share stories they read and the request for MORE BOOKS. I would really love to take this love for reading and books to more children, especially those from rural communities in India. Would appreciate any assistance as less as Rs. 100 that would get a child 1 story book.
