I am a medical doctor with a Masters in Human Sexuality. I started working as Jr. Medical Officer thirty years ago and working through various positions, today as the Director General of FPA India, I feel privileged to be the CEO of the organization.
FPA India plays an important role of complementing and supporting the Government of India's work, particularly in the field of Family Planning, Maternal Child Health and other priority areas related to Women, Men, Individuals, and Young People’s Sexual and Reproductive Health. We work with communities and individuals, helping them to realize their rights. Our priority is to reach out to the most vulnerable and marginalized individuals and ensure their development. Young people are an integral part of FPA India’s work. Our interventions are responsive to community needs, aiming at holistic development of individuals and communities.
We strive to create new evidence, indicative models which would guide the programs through its innovation and insightfulness. I Support FPA India because Sexual and Reproductive Rights are human rights! Family Planning Saves Lives! Young people are the present and future of our country!!
