Dear As we have come into a New Year, I am reaching out to you for your support for the cause of rural education in India I have been participating in the Mumbai Marathon, in support of Isha Vidhya. Isha Vidhya focuses in providing quality education to the rural children, who cannot otherwise afford it. There are 10 schools, with nearly 8500 children, 60% of whom are supported by scholarships. It is also heartening to know 49% of children are girls. Isha is also carrying out critical interventions through GSSP (Govt School Support Program) in 32 rural government schools in 4 districts of TN, benefiting over 10,000 students and 60 teachers.
