Hello, I'am Priti Singh, a B-cell ALL (Blood Cancer). I will be running the Tata Mumbai Marathon Dream Run to raise funds to support children with cancer for CanKids KidsCan, The National Society For Change For Childhood Cancer In India. And need your help to achieve the same.
My Journey started when I was 13 years old studying in 8th std when I was admitted to the hospital ...
A few days later I found out that I had B-cell ALL Cancer. It's a( Blood Cancer). This shocked me that cancer can occur even at this young age. I had five chemos and also 5-7 radiation therapy. ......During treatment there were a lot of problems like body pain, hairfall, weight loss,and also for studies and money problem too. But organisations like CanKids helped me an my parents.
My treatment ended in 2016 and I continued my studies. But on March 2019, my disease returned and that was the time when I was continuously admitted for 3 months. I was very upset because my 12th exams were about to come. This time it hurt even more Because I knew about pain and what will be done. Again CanKids helped me a lot.
My treatment ended in 2020 and I continued my studies. Now I am studying in T.Y.B.COM thanks to all Doctor's, Nurse's , Sir's , Madam's , Didi's, Bhaiya's , Friend's and my parents & family too for all support and happiness. I AM A CANCER SURVIVOR.
I am proud to share that I am participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) in the dream run category with 19 other cancer survivors, like me and our goal extends beyond personal achievements. We are dedicated to raising funds to support children fighting cancer, and this year, I have set a target of a 31000 Rs.
I am reaching out to friends, family, and colleagues, urging them to contribute whatever they can to this cause. Every contribution, no matter how small, will play a crucial role in saving the lives of children battling cancer. Your support is not just a donation it's a step towards saving a child's life.
