Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024

I will be running the Dream run of 6 km at the Tata Mumbai Marathon to support a cause which is close to my heart. 

I am a true believer in the quote "One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world."

Book is a gift you can open again and again. With this thought, I am supporting United Way Mumbai's nationwide Initiative - Let's Read.

You might be wondering - why Let's Read?

Because it is more than just reading, its a pathway towards:

1. Empowerment - Literacy is the foundation upon which dreams are built. By supporting Let's Read, you are directly contributing to the empowerment of children of our nation.

2. Opportunity - A book can open doors to a world full of opportunities. Your contribution helps provide books, educational resources to those who need it most.

3. Equality - Education should know no boundaries. Let's Read strives to bridge that educational divide and ensure that everyone has access to the knowledge and tools they need to succeed.

My name is Rumi Verma Chichani - Working Professional associated with Banking Industry for more than 20 years. I am reaching out to you to support my passion towards the noble cause of providing reading facilities for children living in marginalized communities in India. Hence, I am supporting Let's Read which is a United Way Mumbai's nationwide initiative, which aims to nurture a love for books and reading among children who cannot afford access to books of their own.
