My Campaign ADHAR : a 29-year young pioneer institute in the field of providing lifelong care to Intellectually Disabled Special Adults. Visionary professional Sociologist Mr. Madhavrao Gore founded ADHAR in 1994 with help from Parents of Intellectually Disabled Special Adults. ADHAR now has two residential complexes at Badlapur and Nashik, accommodating 350+ Intellectually Disabled Special Adults towards fulfilling this objective. ADHAR focuses on providing a lifelong home that can keep Intellectually Disabled Special Adults happy and comfortable 24x7. ADHAR aims to provide a meaningful social life to the Intellectually Disabled Special Adults wherein the parents or guardians are completely relieved from the worry of taking complete care of their special child. Experts like Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Medical Officers, Social Workers, Trained Teachers and Caretakers are always available to provide and care for the residents in ADHAR. Additionally, we are now supporting the aged parents of these intellectually disabled adults and taking care of them. Note : All the donations are eligible for deduction under 80G of Income Tax Act.

About Me
ADHAR runs on a parent-society partnership with parents’ contributing ~60% towards its expenses while society helping with the remaining ~40%. The recent Covid Pandemic has impacted everyone including ADHAR. But despite all challenges ADHAR remained functional all through the pandemic, in fact it has never closed for a single day during its 29 years of existence. Unfortunately this added significantly to its running costs. The financials have been badly affected with the increased day-to-day expenses while parents’ contributions have been decreasing due to loss of income & also due to aging parents’ scenario. This situation now entails more participation from the society to help lessen this burden on ADHAR. Most of us have recovered from the lows of Covid and I request your help to do the same for ADHAR #GetBackOnTrack. Kindly contribute generously to ADHAR & help us for Lifelong care of our Specially-abled adults.
