Today, SNEHA is a 490+ person-strong organisation with extensive on-ground experience in helping build healthy lives of urban women and children. Its vision, mission and values affirm its commitment to the health of vulnerable women and children. Other activities done by Sneha: - Promoting maternal health and safe deliveries for women in vulnerable settlements - Tackling malnutrition by empowering systems and promoting community ownership of child nutrition - Empowering adolescents using a gender-transformative approach through experiential education, community mobilization and health services - Working with communities and public systems to prevent and address violence against women and children
About Me
''The obsession with running is really an obsession with the potential for more and more life''. After successfully completing 10 Kms in 55 mins in the year 2020, I am running for the cause yet again this year. Whilst staying healthy and fit is common practice in our daily life and we run for fun, here is an opportunity to run for a cause. Out of many social evils faced in recent times, safety of women and children from violence and health hazards is of serious concern and every small effort to eradicate the same will be a blessing for our society. With this intent in my mind, I am supporting SNEHA.
