Parkinson's disease is a neurological progressive disorder for which there is no cure yet as I understand. Reading and witnessing the struggles of a PD patient, their loved ones and people in the neighborhood with this condition is heart breaking. Their simple daily chores of life becomes a challenging task for them. Today, it is their struggle but tomorrow it could be any of us. I appeal to all general public especially our youth to join me on this journey through United Mumbai Marathon 2020 towards raising funds and support the efforts of the work carried out by Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Society (PDMDS) which provides FREE of cost services like rehabilitative therapies to people with Parkinson’s.
