Hello, I am a high school student in Pune. Living in India, I can see the different lives that many of us live compared to people we interact with around us - our help or even some fellow students. I would like to do my bit in helping those who are under privileged around me. Mudita – An Alliance for Giving has been working in the philanthropic space for the past 6 years. It was started with the objective of building a bridge between donors and beneficiaries and continues to fulfil that purpose. Mudita’s work has been in key areas of Education, Medical treatment & Food security. Funds raised by Mudita from the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2023 will go towards funding their medical treatment program and support the treatment for cancer patients as well as support eye care surgeries for people who cannot afford them. Mudita works directly with doctors & hospitals to ensure the best treatment is given to patients at the most competitive fees. Unlike other NGOs with a higher operating cost, close to 100% of individual donations received by Mudita are used directly for program cost.
