Since 2008, the Mumbai-based NGO HEAL (Help Eradicate Assault Through Learning) has worked to combat child sexual abuse. According to estimates, abuse affects close to 50% of children in India. However, we see HEAL through their body safety and awareness programmes, which attempt to prepare adults to notice and deal with child sexual abuse as well as aid the survivors as best they can; and help the kids integrate a feeling of body safety and autonomy. The goal is to actively provide safe environments, such as homes, schools, and communities so that children won't have to face the horrors of sexual abuse. The Cathedral and John Cannon School students are joining HEAL in the effort to end child sexual assault. You can contribute to our work as well. No matter how much you give, it will help us raise money for HEAL. These funds will be utilised to expand HEAL's reach into different schools and communities, resulting in the development of a child-safe environment. Donate now and come join the battle!
