I am a 9th grade student of the Cathedral & John Connon School, Mumbai, participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2023 to raise awareness and funds for THE HEAL FOUNDATION, that aims to equip people with the ability to recognise and deal with child sexual abuse as well as assist affected children in the best possible way. Child sex abuse is a worryingly common occurrence and the statistics of only reported cases alone are alarming. The only real weapon in this battle is awareness and prevention and the HEAL foundation works with communities and schools to achieve this.
