In India , Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) happens extremely often. Everyday there are more than 200 children abused in India, and in 93% of the cases , the attacker has been known. CSA has always been considered a topic of "taboo" and has never been openly discussed. This prevents children and adults to be well educated on this topic , thus increasing the rate of abused children day by day. "HEAL ( Help Eradicate Abuse Through Learning )" is one of the very few NGO's working towards bringing an end to Child Sexual Abuse by educating children as well as adults on the horror that many young children suffer through on a daily basis . I'm sure that with your donations we can together support the "HEAL" foundation in ceasing the existence of Child Sexual Abuse.
About Me
I am Avika Bhatia , a 13 year old girl, raising money for the "HEAL" foundation. "HEAL" supports children and helps educate others on Child Sexual Abuse. I personally believe nobody should be exploited and under no circumstances should anyone go through abuse , especially children. It is miserable what children have to go through after being abused and the trauma that they face. It disgusts me to know that more than 50% of children in India have suffered through abuse. This topic has never been widely discussed but now it is time to take action.I would really appreciate your help , even the smallest amount counts .
