Sanjeevani - Life Beyond Cancer is a pioneering non-profit organization, in operation since 2012, is working in the field of comprehensive cancer care and works in the core areas of Health, Skill Development and Awareness through its programs. Fighting Cancer with Nutrition that nourishes and transforms health is of paramount importance for a positive outcome for the person fighting cancer. Keeping in mind this unmet need, working for development of one of the most vulnerable sections of society (women fighting cancer) who are in dire need, helping them meet their nutrition needs by providing them essential nutrition boxes is the sole objective of this program. The Nutritional Supplement Box provided under the CanAhaar Program is a specially crafted one containing mixed nuts, Jaggery, puffed rice, chikki, turmeric and spices (cinnamon, clove, peppercorns) to meet their nutritional needs. Cancer can be fought when a person is physically strong to take treatment. But in India, a quarter of underprivileged women are undernourished, which makes survival a problem. Which is why, the need arose for providing nutritional supplement boxes to women fighting cancer. Sanjeevani-Life beyond cancer is working for holistic support to the cancer patients, works mainly in various Government hospitals and a few hospitals by charitable trusts in more than 18 States. Donations given are eligible under 80C of the Income Tax Act. All are requested to donate generously.
