Hello everyone ,I am Dr Reena pursuing DGO (diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology)from V N DESAI MUNICIPAL GENERAL HOSPITAL MUMBAI. Being a BMC hospital , patients coming to V N DESAI HOSPITAL Are poor and most of them are from nearby slum areas.While taking history I have observed the unawareness of the women in taking decisions of their lives and I feel it is the lack of education which is responsible for their current helpless state , once these women are educated then their next generation will know the importance of education , importance of family planning,menstrual hygiene etc .Being an OBGYN I want to make difference in lives of underprivileged women which will be a milestone in changing the lives of underprivileged families.
