Touching Lives is a non-profit organisation based in Mumbai which works towards Learning and Healing of children living in slum communities. They do amazing work at their Learning Center and Community Centers where trained mentors (teachers) use therapeutic learning methods for the overall development of children. This involves integrating mental health, education and developing conscious parent-child relationship. I have had the opportunity of volunteering with them as a career counselor for the past 5 years and have been truly humbled by the quality of people (facilitators and kids) and the results they accomplish.
