8.4 Cr. children in India do not attend schools at all says Census 2011, 17.8 million children (5-13 years) drop-out while 53% of young girls (6-14 years) are illiterate. Taking the onus of such injustice, we will participate in the Tata Mumbai Marathon on behalf of OSCAR Foundation's cause to support children's education through football in Slum communities throughout Mumbai. We believe that with sports, children will access their education, environment and the holistic growth. OSCAR Foundation's policy of "No-school, No-football" have helped in changing the lives of 3000 children and more through school enrollment, leadership and creating opportunities for development. Girls especially with the help of OSCAR's "KICK LIKE A GIRL" project has found the confidence and a gender sensitive environment, representing India Internationally and succeeded.
