CHIRAG school takes a different approach on education than most other schools. They create an environment in which the children can explore their own interests without the fear of failure. The students are exposed to a range of activities like gardening, knitting, nature walks and much more. Also great care is taken in preserving the local culture, by teaching songs, instruments and artstyles of this region. On top of that children are taught a respectful and responsible relation to nature and their environment. I am personally very impressed by CHIRAGs progressive stance on education and the way the teachers interact with the students. I believe that all students greatly profit from growing up in such an understanding atmosphere. Having said all that, it is important to note that in order to include students irrespective of their socioeconomic status, only 10% of the cost is paid by the parents. Thats why CHIRAG school depends on donations to cover 90% of expenditure (28,000 rupees/child/year). Your donations would be greatly appreciated and would benefit the wonderful children of CHIRAG school, greatly improving their chances of sucess in life!More informations about CHIRAG school can be found on their website: https://thechiragschool.wordpress.com/
