Having had lived in an urbanised city in all its glam and glory we may often fail to realise that what we consider standard a lot of people may consider it as a privilege. Education should be everyone’s basic right, but some are not as fortunate. While it may be true that the rate of enrollment in primary schools had increased just 40% of children attend secondary schooling which from grades 9-12. And the state of the schools below grade 9 in rural areas is not at the level it should be . Children lack access to clean water and hygienic toilets and most of them have never no knowledge of how to use a computer. In a country where over 350 million people fall into the category of young population such conditions are not adequate for them. That’s where you come in.
