I feel the topic women empowerment is often debated and is a sensitive one but it needs to be addressed because if a women desires to voice her opinion and become an independent human being nobody can deny her of her right. Moreover the Nargis Dutt foundation has helped a lot of talented women out there in villages who are at times dominated by their conservative families and husbands and told that they are worth nothing. The Nargis Dutt foundation has helped those women by training them in the art of tailoring and has build a knitting Center in Stok village( Leh ) which aims to train women in making beautiful knitwear. Furthermore, this helps them to earn a livelihood through their own hard work and concentration, which will make them more and more confident and self sufficient.
