Hi, my name is Avyoukt Jain and i study in The Cathedral and John Connon Senior School. I have recently decided to take up the initiative to raise funds for social problems which exist in our society such as lack of education or sexual abuse against children. These funds will be donated to highly respected charities such as Heal foundation(started by rahul Bose) and Light of life trust. HEAL (Help Eradicate Abuse Through Learning) through the tool of workshops, aims to educate children and adults on how to recognize, prevent and respond to Child Sexual Abuse. Light of life trust has launched a campaign called project Anando in 2005 which revolves around the belief that no child should be forced to drop out of school. The project provides education to children from the age of 11-18 years. The main goal of the project is to complete secondary education, delay marriage and equip them for employability. I believe that the funds raised by my campaign will really help these children and safeguard them from social evils of our society. Therefore I request you to donate even a small sum of money as even a small amount can drastically change the life of an unfortunate child. Thank you.
