A friend of mine connected me to Gyanada Foundation, an organization that works on teaching physical computing and programming to children from disadvantaged communities. Additionally, their program Binary Story sets up affordable computing labs to learn programming, an essential tool for the 21st century. Aditi, one of the brightest students that I had an opportunity to interact with at Gyanada Labs showed me a game that she created using a block-based programming language- Scratch. Her confidence and belief in her innate potential made me realize that coding is not just a skill but also a global language that today is evolving at par with English. I have set-up this page to support them create more such affordable labs in Mumbai.
