I am supporting Nargis Dutt Foundation’s women empowerment movement because I feel that as humans our greatest quality is our compassion. Compassion for things we care about and people we care about. The women who will be supported through this fundraiser are more than worthy of this compassion. They are hard working, smart and driven women who want to support their family, have a stable career and a better quality of life, just like the rest of us. The only thing stopping them is lack of funds and equipment, no proper training or societal prejudice. Such talent and determination should not be wasted. We can help these women by donating money to buy tailoring machines for 20 women. These machines can be used to train these women, and later employ them in the factories where these machines are used. Thus we’ll be helping these women have the life they deserve.
