Animedh Charitable Trust (ACT) 100+ ACT beneficiary women trained in livelihood skills of tailoring, handwork, embroidery at our ACT centers in the slums of Jogeshwari, Andheri East (Mahakali Caves) and Vashi Village are largely coming from migrant families who will be forced to return to their villages if there is no income to sustain them in the city. We shall endeavor to provide them with ration staples worth Rs 1000 per family per month. For that 30 % who are adversely affected due to containment and red zoning, we aim to give them a survival wage of Rs. 2000 per month for the coming months till they return to full income earning capacity. (Total need Rs 1,60,000 per month or Rs 5,00,000 for 3 months) Other 200+ ACT beneficiaries are women and families of Adivasi tribes in remote rural Dadra & Nagar Haveli who are unable to buy ration staples of a ration due to no income generation in their households. We aim to provide them with ration staples of Rs 500 per family per month When we join hands, we can reach the remotest corner of the distressed communities and effect change that will steer their Adivasi society towards prosperity and gender equality. I firmly believe in the cause that ACT is tirelessly working on. I also believe that ACT has made the maximum difference through the most effective and efficient use of resources and working collaboratively with other NGOs and Government partners.
