Disability is an important public health problem especially in developing countries like India. The problem will increase in the future because of an increase in the trend of non-communicable diseases. Unfortunately, a great number of people who were hit by these diseases are well below the poverty line. These families have no access to the necessary resources to make their life better. The Amar Seva Sangam (ASSA) is doing distinguished service to the physically challenged people by providing shelter, medical help, vocational training, new avenues of employment and rehabilitation, besides supplying necessary mobility appliances for more than 37 years. ASSA provides free Education, Vocational Training, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Caregiving and Special Education for Mentally challenged and Counseling. In 2020, ASSA has a goal to initiate an event called "Early Intervention". In this event, ASSA would like to observe for any developmental delays at the young children in an early stage and start providing medication to the child. We solicit your continued support to the ASSA in helping physically changed people for their social rehabilitation. Every penny donated will count and be truly and gratefully appreciated (70 INR = $1). Please be part in making a difference to the physically challenged people's life. Thank You very much!
