India has the highest number of maternal and child deaths in the world with Under-5 Mortality Rate 43 per 1000 live births - as per SRS Statistical Report 2015 Maternal Mortality Ratio, 167 per 100, 000 live births – as per MMR Bulletin 2011-13 by SRS As many as 11.3 million children in the country breathed their last before they could celebrate their fifth birthday Over 55 per cent of them (6.24 million) died before they could complete even 28 days of their life.
I want to make a change by contributing to this campaign – The Power of first 1000 Days by helping the birth of 70 healthy children.
About Me
I am Parth Doshi. I am a Tybcom student and pursuing Company secretary course. As we know that many women in villages and slums don't go to hospitals for delivery of child and also works as labourer during and after pregnancy leading to huge number of children being born as malnourished .So 'CRY- Child Rights and You' has taken initiative to solve problem of malnourishment from root level by running a campaign named '1000 day campaign ' whereby complete and proper care of pregnant women is done by CRY during 9 months of preganancy till 2nd birthday of child .
I want all the children like me to go proper nutrition and go to school.
