Through the ALL Project, Cankids has helped over 3700 children with the support of 4.42 Crores suffering from ALL over 3 years. This year, I am happy to introduce you all, Ms Sathi Biswas for whom this will be the 2nd year of participation at the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM), which is being held on the 19th January 2020. Sathi was diagnosed with ALL cancer at the age of 14 years in the year 2015. Before she was diagnosed she went through 5 hospitals in search of the right treatment. Her family's search culminated at LTMG Hospital, Sion of Mumbai where she got treated and survived. But due to the unavailability of quality healthcare in the country, his family had to relocate all the way from North 24 Pargana, West Bengal to Mumbai. I am so proud that today beating all odds she will run Marathon in the 10 Km category and I wish her all the best. She is willing to study hard and be a successful woman. Her mother had undergone a lot of pain and struggle. She wants to make her mother happy and proud. She also does a very good painting as well. Her paintings were sent across various national and international competitions. It gave her a lot of confidence. This time, I am helping her to raise $4500 and asking you my friend, family, and colleagues to also contribute to raising funds. No amount is too small, so anything from 50$ to whatever you want to contribute to this cause is appreciated as it would help a kid fight Cancer.
