Isha Vidya is an initiative by Isha Foundation that happened somewhere in the year 2006 when the first Isha Vidya school started in the outskirts of Coimbatore. Isha Vidya has taken education in Rural India altogether to another level and it is producing the future of brighter India. When I visited the Isha Vidya school I got a first-hand experience of how beautifully children from all sections of societies majorly the villages are getting the best of the education in a completely innovative methodology. The best part was to see those small kids so vibrant and so joyful like no other school children I have ever witnessed and that brought tears to my eyes. Isha Vidhya Schools journey started with one school and today it has reached to multiple schools. This has become possible only and only through the dedication and commitment of the Foundation and the volunteers working hard towards making this happen by raising funds and filling the gap. The schools presently cater to more than 2,800 students from nearby villages, with approximately 60% of students supported by full scholarships. The funds come through donations and regular fundraisng activities. Let's join hands to make this happen and give joyfully. "The measure of life is not its duration, but its donation."
