My name is Ibne Ali, and I am a proud Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (Blood Cancer) survivor. I battled B cell ALL cancer at
the tender age of 13 in 2015. I have represented India in the World Children's Winners Games in Moscow 2018 and won a gold medal in chess, a silver in rifle shooting, and a bronze in football.
I am proud to share that I am participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) under the Half-Marathon (21 Km) category with 19 other cancer survivors, like me and our goal extends beyond personal achievements. We are dedicated to raising funds to support children fighting cancer, and this year, I have set a target of a lakh rupees.
Why am I doing this?
My journey led me through three hospitals in
search of the right treatment, and it was at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai
that I found the care I needed. However, my family had to endure financial and
emotional hardships, relocating from Patna, Bihar, to Mumbai in pursuit of
quality healthcare. I have personally seen CanKids help me and my family navigate the journey and the amazing work it does to help children with cancer across India.
I am reaching out to you today, urging you to contribute
whatever you can to this noble cause. Your support, no matter the size, will
play a crucial role in saving the lives of children in their fight against
cancer. It's more than a donation; it's a step towards providing hope and a
chance at a brighter future.
Thank you for your unwavering support!!
