The Jai Vakeel Foundation has been supporting children with intellectual disabilities for over 72 years. One in every fifty people in India are affected by intellectual disabilities; and most of them coming from low economic backgrounds, do not receive the proper care they need. This foundation aims to provide these children with healthcare, education, skill development and support to integrate them into our society. It helps them get equal opportunities and provide them with all the help they need to be able to live a fulfilling life. Having worked with this organisation, I truly believe that they strive to provide the best for their children and donating to this charity will really help them do this!
About Me
I'm 17 year old student of the Dhirubhai Ambani International School and I am extremely passionate about giving back to our society all that it has given me, and making a better life for those less fortunate. I enjoy swimming, scuba diving, baking and playing sports and have been privileged enough to have access to the resources to do these things. Many of the children at the Jai Vakeel Foundation, however, do not have these opportunities. Providing them with access to resources to do something they enjoy is something that I would love to do and thus encourage you to donate to help me do this.
