Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024
I visited the Urban Health Resource Centre's program in Indore in 2013 and interacted with the children in the basti. I taught them origami which I had learnt using Youtube. I taught the children how to make paper bags from newspapers which can be used to carry books and stationery. The children were very quick to pick up the skill and were in fact making better paper bags than me very soon. I enjoyed my interaction with them.
It is important to support the efforts of Urban Health Resource Centre in order to ensure that the children who are less privileged than us have better opportunities to improve their lives. The UHRC is a transparent organisation and releases every year the details of how the funds that have been raised are utilised.

About Me
I am a student of class 11 in Genesis Global School in Noida and have always felt the need to contribute in whatever small way possible for the betterment of lives of those less privileged than me. The work of Urban Health Resource Center is immensely inspiring.
The work that they are doing in the slums of Indore and Agra, in particular with children living in these slums, is something that must be supported. They are building capacities and enabling the children to perform better in their schools with increased self-confidence. I urge everyone to please donate and support the good work of the Urban Health Resource Center.
