Dear Friends, I believe, it is every individual’s moral responsibility to contribute towards the well being of our society. It is an act of righteousness, generosity and courtesy. ‘Muktashala’ is an effort to foster the children of the ‘Katkari tribe’. While their parents migrate in search of work, this project provides comprehensive care for 70 tribal children including a residential and day care facility, nutritional and after-school support, life skill sessions, healthcare provisions and activities for their social and emotional development. I am running this Marathon supporting the campaign to educate tribal children of PRIDE India ( a rural initiative of Save the Children India) to help them break away from the cycle of poverty!
