Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024

Dear Friends, Late Soldier Shahaji Gopal Ghorde was assigned to Kopala-Bandapur Post when he lost his life on duty. This incident happened on 10th September 2016. He is left behind with his parents, Janabai Gopala Ghorde (65), father Gopala Ghorde (70) and two brother, Vishnu (49) and Shivaji (40). Shahaji also has a wife, Rekha to whom he was married in 2007 and two children Om (6) and Siddhi (8). The house in which the family currently reside is a one room small house which is in dilapidated condition. Due to constant water seeping in, now the house has developed major cracks and is swollen in most of the places. The roof is of tin and generates a lot of heat during summers. The family is farmer by profession and grow crop enough to suffice for the family. They don’t have enough money to refill the cracks in the house or to rebuild the house. The family is in dire need of a decent house. I am participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon to build a decent home for the family of Late Soldier Shahaji Gopal Ghorde. Please support me to give decent home for the family of a Late Soldier who gave his life to protect us and our families at the border and contribute generously for a noble cause.
