Dear Friends, As you have heard, the floods in Kerala have been the most devastating the state has experienced in over 100 years! I have chosen to run in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2019 to raise funds for Kerala Flood Relief on behalf of Habitat for Humanity India. Their response to the floods is a sustained, long-term plan including: Phase 1: Humanitarian Aid Kits for 10,000 families Phase 2: Emergency Shelter Kits for 5000 families Phase 3: Home repairs and renovation for 2000 families As of now, they are distributing Humanitarian Aid Kits containing tarpaulin sheets, nylon rope, a water filter, kitchen set, sleeping mats, bucket, blankets and hygiene kit to flood-affected families.
