Raising Funds For

TCF proposes to operate a total of 3 Mobile Health Units (MHU) – two in the buffer zone of Kanha Tiger Reserve and Kanha-Pench Corridor, and one in the buffer zone of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve – to cover around 100 villages on a weekly basis. Each MHU consists of a dedicated vehicle having a doctor, a health worker and a driver. In addition, TCF will operate 2 OPD centres (one each in Kanha and Bandhavgarh) to cater to the nearby villages and to those villagers who choose to consult TCF’s doctors despite far off distances. Each patient is provided with appropriate medicines and consultation in Kanha and Bandhavgarh. The villages covered belong to certain parts of Balaghat and Umaria districts of the state of Madhya Pradesh.
