‘CHANGE LIVES, SAVE LIVES WHEN YOU RUN FOR PRIDE’

PRIDE India, over the last 40 years, has been working on multiple thematic areas bringing about sustainable changes to uplift lives of the underprivileged communities. Since the last 9 to 10 years, the organization has successfully participated and has raised funds through the Mumbai Marathon. This has helped to amplify the efforts in saving and transforming lives.

Through this Marathon, we are appealing to you to join us in a transformative endeavour for Quality Health Care and Sustainable Livelihood.

1) PRIDE has been instrumental and contributed in improving health outcomes by reducing the mother mortality rate (MMR) from 35 to 1 and reduction in infant mortality rate (IMR) from 9.36 to 0.1 through our SPARSH hospital and community outreach initiatives in more than about 450 intervention villages where there is limited access to healthcare services.

2) With our Lakshya initiative, PRIDE has changed the lives of more than 76,000 people in the last five years. This initiative focuses on multiple domains of education, skill and economic empowerment with a boosted income increase by ~25%.

As we run together, our every stride, helps bridge the gap. The funds we raise will be transparently managed for maximum impact.
