Raising Funds For

While we want to tirelessly reach out to more and more beneficiares, we can't do so due to various restrictions—with funds being the biggest hurdle. With your contribution, we will not only be able to provide more social and economic avenues to our beneficiaries, but also reaffirm their belief in humanity.

We would like to request all the runners to support our cause and help us break the inter-generational cycle of prostitution.

The proceeds of the run would be used towards both these programs. Services would include formal education, informal education, Kindergarten, nutritional food, monthly check ups, health camps, empowerment through various trainings, exposure visits, recreational activities and shelter home facilities

Project DescriptionUmeed for women in brothel-based prostitution: The objectives of the Umeed Program are to help women who have been trafficked into prostitution with their physical, mental and economic well-being. Finance/ financial literacy, education/ adult literacy empowerment/ vocational training, health- mental & physical such as medical referrals, medical monthly check up/ health camps/ nutrition, counselling, recreation and shelter home placement. Since these women enter prostitution at a very young age, they are uneducated and unskilled, which makes such an empowerment process imperative.
