The need to support children with special needs has been evident for a long time, hence there is a need for a support plan for them in various areas. Muskan Foundation started with the same purpose which is to support children with multiple special needs and visual impairment.
Muskan has been operating successful special needs and therapy programs for 17 years, few of the high demand programs run are early intervention, special education and therapies.
What makes the Muskan Foundation’s program a unique program? We have a team of 40 plus licensed and experienced specialists in the field of special needs, vision therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy, behavior therapy, counselors and competitive administrative and leadership support. This has been possible only through the cooperation of generous donors and CSR funding.
Children with MDVI are the most marginalized of all PwD in India. We aim to reach out to every child with MDVI to support them in every possible way, for them to understand their strength and be a responsible and contributing citizen. There is a role for everyone in play – individuals, corporates, non-profits, governments.

The foundation is registered under the public charitable trust act and has all necessary compliances ready such as 80G, 12A, and FCRA. It is also registered under CSR form 1 to become eligible to receive CSR funds.
The robust operation systems generate program monitoring reports, donor reports and fund utilization reports on quarterly and annually basis to share with our support partners.
More than 90% of funds go directly to the program and operational expenses. The rest 10% we use for training, equipment, and administrative expenses.
