Over the past 15 years, Educate Girls has made significant strides in advancing evidence-based solutions to ensure access to education for all girls. Our journey began with a modest 500-school pilot in 2007, and today, our program spans over 24,000+ schools across 21,000+ villages in 32 educationally disadvantaged districts in India. We've built a dedicated network of 18,000+ Team Balika community volunteers who work tirelessly on the ground to secure girls' right to education.

To date, our impact has been profound: we've successfully enrolled 1.4 million+ out-of-school girls and maintained an impressive average retention rate of 95% year-on-year. Our remedial learning curriculum interventions, known as 'Gyan Ka Pitara,' have improved learning outcomes for over 1.95 million+ children. In total, Educate Girls has positively affected the lives of 18.6 million+ children through our combined efforts in enrollment, retention, learning support, and school governance and infrastructure enhancement.

We've been pioneers in innovative initiatives, such as launching the world's first Development Impact Bond (DIB) in education and being selected in 2019 as Asia's first organization for The Audacious Project.
